A drunken motorist caused major problems last night on the Italiëlaan. A 44-year-old woman drove her car into a signpost, hitting it out of the ground, and then crashed into a tree.
After the accident happened, the woman was found drunk, in the back seat of her car. She was sleeping on a bed of beer cans. After the collision, the license plate fell off the car.
After an investigation, it was discovered that her license had been suspended in 2013 after a similar incident. The motorist is being prosecuted.
