As of yesterday, an international bus shuttle is connecting Eindhoven to Antwerp and Düsseldorf. The initiative was taken by Arriva and Deutsche Bahn.
The carriers want to offer a good international connection. There is a need, according to Michael Peterson from Deutrsche Bahn: ‘When people take the train, they need to change trains several times. The bus takes them to Düsseldorf or Antwerp non-stop.’
Arriva and Deutsche Bahn market to business as well as to leisure travellers. The bus runs seven days a week, three times a day.
