Last weekend the big graffiti event took place again in Eindhoven. The international graffiti festival, ‘Step in the Arena’ took place for the 5th time in the Berenkuil traffic circle (AKA Insulindeplein). More than 200 artists from the Netherlands and abroad gave the Berenkuil a new look.
The festival attracted lots of spectators. Among the volatile fumes from the aerosol spray cans, one could hear relaxed music, come across a mini barbecue and an ice-cream cart here and there. Naturally, the presence of a bar and an eating tent with picnic tables was welcomed by the many visitors amongst the beautifully sprayed walls.
