The tigers’ Easter meal gave rise to a commotion at Dierenrijk in Nuenen. The animals were served a white rabbit, in front of the visitors’ eyes. Those visitors were not amused, according to Omroep Brabant.
Children watched how the bunny was devoured and were crying, parents walked away in shock. One of the visitors said it was very inappropriate to do such a thing at Easter.
It is unclear whether the rabbit was still alive when given to the tigers. Dierenrijk has not given any comments yet.
