A large fire broke out on Thursday motning at the Valkenhorst party centre, burning it down to the ground.
The fire department received the alarm at around 3:45 this morning. The fire engines arrived quickly, but the firemen could not do much and had to wait for the fire to burn out.
Thick plumes of smoke caused by the fire could be seen from the A2 highway. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
