Last night, the Village Council in Acht was dissolved. The six members resigned.
Almost two years ago, the city of Eindhoven decided that the Village Council would no longer have official functions.
Previously, the Council had an advisory right towards the city council, but it had been abolished, against local residents’ wishes. The Village Council had decided to continue their activities.
Last night, during their last council meeting, they decided to call it quits.
