More visitors ‘Lichtjesroute’ this year

More than 200,000 people toured the light event, according to the organization. Sunday evening, the lights were lit for the last time this year.

The ‘Lichtjesroute’ (Route of Lights) started traditionally on 18 September, the day Eindhoven celebrates its liberation from WWII in 1944.

This year, the bike tour was very popular. Several stops had been organized along the route where people could have a drink and listen to live music.
