Taiwan’s research institute ITRI opened an office at the Eindhoven’s High Tech Campus Friday.
ITRI is similar to the Dutch TNO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Toegepast-Natuurwetenschappelijk Onderzoek). The new office should reinforce the relationship with Dutch research institutes and expand collaboration with industrial partners. It is going to focus on innovative solutions for the healthcare industry and eco-systems.
ITRI is considered one of the main players in the field of technological research. It has accumulated over 17,000 patents over the years. ITRI employs about 5,800 worldwide.
