The robot soccer players from the TU/e lost in the Robocup final Sunday. China’s team, Water, defeated Tech United with 2 – 3 in the Indoor Sports Centre.
By half-time, the score was 1-1. Little into the second half, the Chinese scored, making it 2 -1, but shortly before the end of the match, Tech United made another goal: 2-2.
The game was prolonged and the Chinese scored again. It was quite unexpected, because the Eindhoven team had not let any goals in until the finals.
Service robot Amigo came in third by serving a drink during the final match.
