The special mix of instruments of Fuse, a classical string quartet complemented with a double bass and percussion, is not the only thing that is unusual about this young sextet. Fuse switches easily between a classical piece and a jazz classic by John Coltrane and then straight away to a piece by Shostakovich. The different backgrounds of these talented musicians makes them suitable for every occasion and the diversity of the pieces makes their performances very exciting and surprising.
