Carola Eijsenring initiated her Burning Blood Group in 2014, in collaboration with 3 musicians around her poetry performances. This year her Burning Blood Group has been expanded into a group of around 15 international musicians, poets, artists, designers & production crew members, who have brought their hearts & souls to the group for the shows ‘Burning Blood’ (April 2019) and ‘Life Lines’ (Nov 2019).

The group will proceed co-creating shows with soulful poetry, music, dance & art, as well with the whole Burning Blood group as in various bigger & smaller combo’s, but always hooked on Carola’s poetry themes circling around lost longings, wounded desires and reflections on roots & reality, as a starting point.

These will also be the themes for our performance (partly from ‘Life Lines’) in the National Week of Poetry.
