Today the Summa College opens a third meeting place with activities for senior citizens.
Lokaal+ organiseert sportieve, creatieve en ontspannen workshops workshops for senior citizens in the neighbourhood. Cooking and eating together, for example, a game of cards or seniors gym. Students from the Care and Welfare (Zorg en Welzijn )department of the Summa College will be there to assist in the workshops. The aim is to enhance the perspective of senior citizens, and at the same time give the students the opportunity of getting practical experience.
This third location is on Palladiostraat in Woensel. The other two Lokaal+locations are on Willem de Rijkelaan in Eindhoven and de Kempen in Bladel.
