An old Avro Lancaster bomber from the Second World War is in Eindhoven today.
It is a very special aircraft, because there are only two airworthy Lancaster bombers left. It is going to tour a few war memorials in the Netherlands and in Belgium in the context of ‘Dodenherdenking’ (Remembrance of the Death) on 4 May.
The aircraft is based in the UK, but was flown to Eindhoven Airport for the occasion. It is easily recognizable by its four engines.
