The tree lined avenues in the Genneper Parks are getting a makeover. A total of 161 trees will be cut and replaced.
Foundation Trefpunt Groen Eindhoven has been involved in the planning process. A tree care advisor inspected the trees and discovered that many were in poor shape.
The metamorphosis should change the parks’ image. Longer avenues will be created and ecological values taken into account. Bats, for instance, use these lanes for orientation.
