A 20 year old man from Eindhoven was arrested at home yesterday morning in connection with an armed robbery dating back to 2011.
There was an armed robbery in June that year in a supermarket on Sint Jozefplein. Three en with balaclavas threatened personnel with what looked like a firearm They fled with cash. The criminal investigators found DNA at the crime scene and this led to the suspect. He is now being remanded for further investigation. The police may make further arrests in connection to the case.
