An underground hemp farm has been found in the outlying area between Eindhoven and Son.
The nursery was discovered on Monday by Enexis and guarded by the police on Monday night. There is an estimate of about 150 weed plants in the nursery. The cellar is well hidden in the woods, at the end of a dead end alley on the Esp.
The nursery is approximately 20 square meters in size and accessible through a hatch in the ground. There is a layer of water of 30 centimeters in the cellar. The police investigated and cleared the nursery during the day.
It is not yet known who the nursery belongs to. A drug lab burned down 100 meters away a few years ago.
