Hotel rates increased significantly in Eindhoven, which is ranking fourth now on the list of most expensive cities in the Netherlands.
Over the past year, the price of an average hotel room rose with 10 per cent to reach 88 Euros per night, as shows the Hotel Price Index on booking site Hotels.com. Cities more expensive than Eindhoven are Amsterdam, with 120 Euros, followed by Utrecht (103 Euros) and Den Haag (102 Euros). Eindhoven is followed by Haarlem (87 Euros) and Rotterdam (83 Euros).The Dutch pay 94 Euros on average for a stay in their own country, which leads them to the eighteenth place of the world ranking. The Swiss pay most, with a hotel rate of 151 Euros per night.
