EINDHOVEN – The number of registered job-seeking young people (under age 27) increased considerably in Eindhoven over the past year. In August, UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) counted 913 young people looking for employment or working less than 12 hours a week. That number was 542 the previous year.
This means a 68 percent increase. Neighbouring town Helmond is doing better: the number of registered young people seeking employment has been decreasing there since 2009.http://eindhoven.dichtbij.nl/zakelijk/forse-stijging-werkzoekende-jongeren-eindhoven
