“Least” weapons in Eindhoven

EINDHOVEN – In Eindhoven, ‘only’ 350 firearms licenses have been issued. That means ‘only’ two weapons per 1,000 residents and this places Eindhoven at the bottom of a list for once. We’re ranked 409th, on a list of 415 towns in The Netherlands.

This was the result of an investigation conducted by RTL News, that requested all the numbers available in The Netherlands. Obviously, these numbers say nothing about firearm usage, nor about the (illegal) trade in arms. The numbers published only represent firearms licenses issued by the city council.http://eindhoven.dichtbij.nl/112/eindhoven-heeft-350-legale-wapens
