Writer Kader Abdollah is to visit the Lorentz Casismir Lyceum. He will give a lecture on his work, his youth in Iran and Islam in the Netherlands. After the lecture, pupils of the school will interview him.
Abdollah’s visit to the Lorentz is in the context of a literary evening, to be held in the school’s auditorium C.
Kader Abdollah was born in Iran. He dreamed of being a writer, and immersed himself in Western literature from the age of twelve. He is well-known for his novel The House of the Mosque, among other titles.
The literary evening with Kader Abdollah will be held on Thursday 17 November, and will start at half past seven. Tickets cost 5 euros.
