On Sunday a female driver flew through the fence of the viaduct on Kennedylaan.
According to the municipality, it is the first collision since the construction of the roundabout in 2014. This has resulted in reduced speeds. It is being investigated how a car was able to break through the railing. On this basis it will be decided if additional measures are neccessary. The fence will be repaired as soon as possible. Replacement of the fence on Orpheuslaan is not an option, a spokeswoman of the municipality says.
