E-sports athlete PSV plays first e-international match ever

E-sports athlete Ali Riza Aygün of PSV will be the first ever to play an e-international match against England.

The KNVB and the English Football Association have organized this first international match together. It has never happened before that two e-athletes played for their country and faced each other.
Aygün is selected for the Netherlands and will face the 18-year-old Shaun Springette.

The Netherlands is leading in the field of e-sports. Together with France they were the first to have an e-division.
This competition is the same as the Eredivisie, but the e-athletes play FIFA against each other to crown a champion. The 22-year-old e-sportsman already won several tournaments and was the winter champion of this season.
