A new retail and catering facility will be established on the corner of the Stratumseind and Dommel.
The building will contain a shop which is open during the day and a café. Furthermore, the upper floor will house a bed and breakfast. Owner of the property is architect Marco Aartsen. He wants more diversity on Stratumseind: ‘We want more green in the streets and more cafés and restaurants which are also open during the day."
Previously, he came up with the concept of the ‘Oude Rechtbank’ (old court of justice), also at Stratumseind. A place where people could have breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The sale will be completed in two weeks. According to Aartsen the new business will be open before summer.
