Announcement from the British Society Amsterdam

AMSTERDAM – This year’s British Society Charity Ball will be held on the 8th of December in the St. Olof’s Chapel of the Barbizon Palace hotel, Amsterdam. Stephen Huyton, Chairman of the British Society of Amsterdam is inviting all British people and other allied parties in the Netherlands to join them at this special event.

This year’s theme will be the “Jubilee ball”, honoring the diamond Jubilee of her majesty the Queen. It promises to be a glittering evening filled with music, entertainment and dancing till 03:00.The Michelin star chef of restaurant Vermeer, will prepare a special three course “jubilee menu” for the occasion. The Charity for this edition of the ball will be the Red Cross, an organization rooted both in the UK and in the Netherlands which is also supported by the royal families in both countries.
