International Women’s Day was celebrated in Eindhoven on March 10 in Parktheater.
Months of preparations by CLO (Centro Latinoamericano de Orientación, Eindhoven) showed in the success of the day.
Many women celebrated together the sisterhood on this special day. Shows of Indian dancers, Latino singers, a Zulu singer, gospel choir, poetry, presentations and workshops were appreciated by the international audience. The exercise called ‘Crossing the Line’ brought depth in the programme and showed the strength and support of women. In the breaks there was a lot of dancing on Latino tunes and do not forget the vending stalls with art and design, together with the delicious food, it was a memorable day.
