Designers and residents brighten up Henri Dunantpark

Designers will get together with residents to brighten up the Henri Dunantpark in the Eindhoven district of Woensel, and make it livelier.

Starting on Wednesday, designer Rocco Verdult will construct an object in the park, near the large climbing ropes. He and design studio Tante Netty are inviting residents to help decide what that should be, and how the park can be brightened up.

The idea of giving the Dunantpark a boost is part of the Benskie in de Buurt project, and initiative of Tante Netty. A number of Eindhoven districts are being looked at, with a view to listening to what the residents want, and matching that with artists or designers.
