Stadswandelpark to be converted into golf course

The money collected during the 17th edition of Parkgolf will go to Inloophuis De Eik (The Oak Centre) and Stichting Leergeld (the Leergeld Foundation).

For the benefit of the event, a golf course is being built between the preHistoric Village and the Van Abbe Museum in the Stadswandelpark. It is a full 18-holes course. It starts in the Ton Smits park at the preHistoric Village and runs via the Dommelplantsoen, the Hornemannplantsoen and the Anne Frankplantsoen to the Van Abbe Museum.

It is an event for the adventurous golfer. The grass is not cut with millimeter accuracy as is done on a real golf course. The Den Elzent and De Keersop Lions Clubs are organising¬†Parkgolf. Under the motto ‘we serve’ they play at the golf course in Eindhoven every year.

The 17th edition of the event takes place on Saturday, 22 September,  and registrations are now open.
