The Eindhoven based Hurks is celebrating its 105th anniversary in Eindhoven. It’s reason enough for the building company to give a treat for the symbolic sum of €105,000 to all kinds of associations and organisations in the city.

The family business says it wants to do something in return for the Eindhoven community. So Hurks is using a campaign to call on associations and organisations to come up with an initiative. These are organisations for which the company has once done a job.

The best initiatives receive a sum of money. Hurks wants the projects to have something to do with sustainability or to contribute to a sense of belonging in a community. Initiatives can be submitted via this website (in Dutch).

Hurks has been active in the region since it was founded in 1916, constructing many famous buildings. The company was involved in the construction of De Piazza, Van Abbe Museum, De Effenaar and various hospitals, among other buildings.
