Costes could open a branch in the spacious, former V&D building in the city centre of Eindhoven.
According to the ED, The Sting Companies wants to open a business there. Costes is part of the company’s retail chain. Before a decision is made, The Sting Companies wants to wait to see what the precise redevelopment plans for the V&D building will be. MN, the site’s owner, will provide clarity about this next month.
Costes already has a branch in the Heuvel shopping centre. If a store were to be housed in the V&D building, it would be much larger, with several floors. After the V&D went bankrupt, the building is mainly being used as an exhibition space, such as for The Warehouse of Innovation.
