The goal of the Data Value Center Smart Industry (DVC-SI) is to help entrepreneurs get more value out of data.

The digital centre collects data via experts, and companies can copy and use this data cheaply or even free of charge. This low price is possible thanks to a contribution of EUR 1,000,000 from the national and provincial government. After two years it will be checked whether the project will be continued or not. The DVC-SI wants to help at least 250 companies along their way every year by providing data.

Thomas Faber, representative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Change, and Martijn van Gruijthuijsen, Economy Deputy of the province of Noord-Brabant, will officially open the project on Thursday 17 October at the Brainport Industries Campus.
