The police have arrested a 28-year-old man for robbing the Aldi in Tongelresestraat. The police tracked the suspect down, after receiving a tip.
The robbery occurred in December last year. Two men with a firearm entered the store and threatened the employees. They fled with the money they had stolen. No one was injured.
One man has now been arrested. He is being detained for further investigation.
