Final test case for Oranje Leeuwinnen (Orange Lionesses) in Philips Stadium

The final test case for the Oranje Leeuwinnen at the World Cup in France is played on Eindhoven soil. The Dutch women’s team will play a friendly game against Australia in the Philips Stadium on Saturday 1 June.

Australia is a formidable opponent for the Dutch football women. Of the six mutual duels, the Australians won three times, it ended in a draw twice.

After the so-called goodbye match in Eindhoven, the Dutch team leaves for France for the World Cup. It will be held there from 7 June to 7 July. The Netherlands will play the first official World Cup match on Tuesday 11 June, against New Zealand.
