Onward together as Rabobank Regio Eindhoven

Marc Cootjans, Chairman of the Rabobank Board

The Rabobank sectors, Eindhoven-Veldhoven and Het Groene Woud Zuid have joined forces and from now on will act as a single entity, named Rabobank Regio Eindhoven.

The decision was taken by the members’ councils of the three banks on Wednesday 27 February 2019. The three banks had previously expressed their intention to merge.

Rabobank Regio Eindhoven serves a large, diverse and dynamic region and aims to be the financial partner for all entrepreneurs and private individuals. The new bank has also resolved to make a significant societal contribution based on the themes ‘help entrepreneurs grow’, ‘financially healthy living’ and ‘social cohesion’.

The new Rabobank aims to be the perfect financial partner for the Brainport region. The bank will present a special Brainport agenda in the spring, in the form of an ambitious action programme for its business and private customers.

Board chairman Marc Cootjans: “3,500 people work at the Rabobank Groep in the Eindhoven region, making us one of the biggest employers in the area. With such a large number of employees and the pooling of resources that we have decided on, we now have an excellent opportunity to extend our position as a trusted, expert, close-to bank.”
