As of Sunday, 9 December, there will be some changes in the schedules of several bus lines in Eindhoven.
After an analysis was done, the arrival and departure times of various buses have been adjusted.
High Summer roster
Lines 2, 4, 402, 403, 405, and 406 will have a special timetable will be introduced during the summer holidays. This is the so-called Hoogzomer rooster (High Summer roster).
The frequency between buses will decrease to 30 minutes for lines 2, 4, 402, 403, 405, and 406. This is valid from Mondays to Saturdays. For line 405, the bus frequency will drop to 30-minute intervals on Sundays too. This will be the case between 07:00 and 22:00 for line 406 as well.
On Sundays, line 9 buses will only run between WoensXL/Catharina Ziekenhuis and Son en Breugel. Smaller buses will also be used. The Eindhoven Station – Ekkersrijt route will be run by line 406 buses.
Weekdays
On weekdays, there will be no more one-way trips between Eindhoven and Leende v.v. on line 11 buses. Line 404 buses will start running an hour early from Nuenen.
Line 17 and 324: the 15-minute frequency will increase to a 30-minute one between 9:00 and 13:00 (14:30 in the case of line 324).
Line 102 will be discontinued. The Nuenen Centre – Stiphout route on this, as well as on line 259’s route, is to be replaced by the extended Bravo Flex Helmond. The last return trip on line 123 buses will be discontinued. This line will also not be operational during the holidays. Some line 321 morning trips, starting in Gemert, will be suspended. This is due to the large number of buses that are operating then.
Route changes
Line 117’s route in Valkenswaard will change. Line 260 will be extended to Geldrop and stops will be added. Line 400 (the airport shuttle) will go via WoensXL/Catharina Ziekenhuis. This is because the Boschdijk route is very unreliable when it comes to keeping time. It will also stop at only WoensXL/Catharina Ziekenhuis en route to the airport.
Please note that these changes are only scheduled to come into effect as of 9 December 2018. Information regarding scholar buses will be released at a later stage. The new schedules can also be seen on http://www.hermes.nl.
