An Eindhoven inhabitant was caught speeding in a hired Ferrari during the weekend.
Police caught the 38-year-old driver along the Oersebaan in Veldhoven, driving at least 80 km/h too fast.
The man had hired the Ferrari for a quarter of an hour. Apparently, he wanted to get as much out of his 15 minutes as possible.
According to police, the hired Ferrari’s average speed was 105 km/h, where 50 km/h is the maximum speed allowed. Not that this was the fastest the driver went. His maximum speed was 130 km/h.
