Philips may be fined millions

Philips might have to cough up tens of millions of euros for a fine.

They have reserved an amount of EUR30 million. This will be used to pay off the possible fine. In 2013, the European Commission investigated this company’s electronic products’ prices.

The electronics company may have bypassed webshops. They did so to sell some products at a lower price than these products were available for in shops. This is against European pricing regulations.

The European Commission is expected to publish the results of its investigation within the year.
