Last night (Thursday) a fire raged in Daalakkersweg in the Tongelre neighbourhood.
Rubbish in a bin was set alight in a parking area adjacent to the road. The verge also caught fire, because of the drought.
The rubble was pulled apart with a rake, and after that, the fire department had the fire quickly under control. The police were also at the scene.
