On Friday some 30 gipsy jazz musicians will perform at an open-air concert in Gerwen.
It is the conclusion of Sinti Jazz Guitar Camp. At the Huysven, among others, Paulus Schäfer, Fapy Lafertin, and Romino Grünholz will show their talents.
It is the fourth edition of the Guitar Camp. Guitarists are also following workshops with authorised gipsy guitarists to improve the technique of rhythm and solo work.
Solo guitarist Paulus Schäfer comes from Nuenen. Together with Fapy Lafertin, an old acquaintance in the Sinti Jazz, and rhythm guitarist Romino Grünholz, he takes care of the master class. The participants in the Guitar Camp come from twelve countries, such as Australia, Norway, the United States and the Czech Republic.
