Listen to and debate with local politicians

Vredesburo (Peace Office) is inviting you to join a debate with local politicians on the subject: Eindhoven, multicultural city. On Wednesday 07 February.

Dutch local elections (gemeenteraadsverkiezingen) take place on March 21, 2018. EU citizens can vote and also non-EU citizens under some conditions. On this evening you can find out more about the visions and plans of local politicians on integration, work, housing, education, free time and other subjects relevant for newcomers in the city. You can influence the local politics by sharing your experiences, needs, and ideas at this evening.

It is also an opportunity to practice your Dutch in a very relevant setting. Throughout the evening, ‘New in NL’ volunteers will help you with communication in Dutch.  You can ask questions and share your experience. Interested? Please register via this link.
