Philips is ranked among the top five of the most valuable brands in the Netherlands. This is evidenced by the annual survey of brand finance agency Brand Finance. ASML and NXP are both in the top fifteen.
The list is, as in previous years, led by oil company Shell. KPMG and ING complete the top three. Philips is fourth. The three companies in the Eindhoven region have a strong brand thanks to their emotional commitment, financial performance and sustainability. They were judged on those qualities. In addition, the turnover of the companies is taken into account.
The technology companies ASML and NXP are twelfth and fifteenth. Together with Philips, they are the highest listed tech companies.
