Electronics giant Philips reported a profitable second quarter for 2017.
Comparing figures from the last quarter to the same period in 2016 showed growth, however the data’s reliability was affected by the sale of most of the Philips Lighting division.
Sales rose by 4% in the healthcare technology division, while total turnover was €4.3bn. Profits also increased.
Philips saw an 8% increase in orders in the last quarter, and said it expects to meet revenue projections for 2017. The group predicts between 4 and 6% growth annually.
