A man and woman were injured in a car accident on Heerbaan in Eindhoven this morning.
The accident happened when the car they were travelling in, slid on the wet road surface, left the road and collided with a tree. The vehicle had extensive damage and had to be removed by a towing company.
The road had been closed in both directions for some time now as there was oil on the surface and had to be cleaned.
The victims were transported by ambulance to the hospital. The extent of their injuries or the seriousness of their condition is not known at this time.
