In the Philipszaal of the Parktheater, a theater piece about Philips will be performed starting September. The performance is called Lampenmakers, and tells, among other things, about the high and low points of the multinational from Eindhoven.
For the theater piece of the Zuidelijk Toneel, one and a half years of research has been done. There are old and current employees but also managers and management members interviewed.
In the theater piece, employees organize a big party before leaving the president-director. His successor is already eagerly waiting behind the scenes to face new challenges for Philips. Shareholders see opportunities and the company is looking tense.
Those who want to dive deeper into the history of the electronics company after the performance, can go to the Philips Museum. The tickets for the show also entitle you to a free visit to the museum.
