People in Eindhoven will shortly be able to make use of SwapFiets. Leaking tyre? With the SwapFiets app you will get another bike within 24 hours. From Monday, 8 May, these bicycles will be available in Eindhoven.
Automotive Science students from Delft University have set up a start-up company called ‘Het Spotify van de fietsen‘. Users can subscribe to them for twelves euros a month. When the Swap-bikes, with their distinctive bright blue front wheels are delivered, the damaged bike is taken to be repaired.
SwapFiets is already active in Nijmegen, Delft, Leiden, Groningen and Utrecht. Besides Eindhoven, they will also be launched in Rotterdam on 8 May.
