Today was the friendly football tournament New Neighbours at High Tech Campus football field
It was organized by New Neighbours who aim to connect different cultures. The football tournament was for newcomers and local people in Eindhoven to get to know each other. You didn’t have to be talented or have special gear; every level was welcome.
There was football, eating soup together and meeting new people.
New Neighbours says: “Since a lot of refugees have settled in Eindhoven, we think it is necessary to get to know our new neighbours. Sports connects different cultures, so that’s why we organize a friendly football tournament this time.”
The tournament was at the football field of the High Tech Campus in the south of Eindhoven and participants cycled there together from the railway station.
