Two people from Eindhoven, aged 69 and 79, were arrested yesterdaymorning for the assault of a man from Neunen.
The 56-year-old victim reported the incident to police in Mathilde Avenue. He had a head wound and indicated that he had been assaulted by two men shortly before, in a house in Eindhoven.
The man became unwell while making his statement. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Police officers went to the house and found the two men there. They were arrested. They are being held while the investigation continues.
The victim suffered injuries to his head and had several blue marks on his upper body. He was treated in hospital.
