Eindhoven is again getting ten pavement tiles to revive the history of the city. Since the end of 2014, there have been ten heritage tiles in the centrum, depicting the history of the place. The project is now being expanded to other parts of the city.

The new tiles will be placed at the Woenselse Watermolen, TU-terrain, the Oude Luihuijs van Strijp on Trudoplein, De Oude Sint Joriskerk, a property at ‘t Hofke and De Oude Toren in Woensel. The municipality is still looking for a number of other locations for the remaining tiles, says councillor Schreurs.

The tiles must make invisible heritage visible again and “revive” it. In addition to the tiles, the municipality wants to erect boards referring to the history of the city because the tiles are often not very noticeable.
