Woensele Poort (forensic psychiatric centre) appoints ‘change manager’

The Woenselse Poort has appointed John Nijhuis. He starts to work as a change manager on November 14. His task is to further improve the work and working environment in the Woenselse Poort.

Nijhuis has vast experience in the forensic and judicial field. The past six years he worked at Trajectum; an institution for people with mild intellectual disabilities sometimes with a forensic background. And in 2015 he led the transition of Veldzicht from a forensic hospital to a psychiatric center for immigrants with a criminal or civil context.

According to Woenselse Poort, that experience makes him the ideal person to make changes in order to improve the care and safety of clients and staff.
