Woman trapped in car after collision with a light postA woman was injured in an accident on the John F Kennedylaan yesterday evening. She ran her car off the road, crashing into a lamp post. The woman was then trapped in her car.
The accident happened shortly before 21.30 at the Tempellaan exit. The fire department was needed at the site to free the woman. The roof of the car had to be cut off.
After the woman was freed from the wreckage, she was taken to hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries.
The cause of the accident is unknown.
