Police have arrested a man suspected of domestic violence. He is 35 years old and abused his 33-year-old partner.
A call was made to police around 00.30 last night, stating that someone was being mistreated in the woman’s house. Screams could be heard inside the house when officers arrived. Once inside, they found the injured woman.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance. She is suffering from a broken wrist and bruising. The suspect was arrested and is being held in custody for further investigation.
